GOD Mode in Windows 10. GOD Mode in Windows 10 is used to change any settings within a click. In Windows 10 GOD Mode, All the settings of Control panel are in a single folder. You can enter into the GOD Mode by creating a single folder on desktop and then change its name with certain code (Code for GOD Mode mentioned below).

If you are a long-time Windows user, you may remember a trick to enable 'God Mode'. It may sound epic depending on your expectations, but the easiest way to describe the feature is that it gives access to all of the operating system's control panels from within a single folder. In fact, its real name is the Windows Master Control Panel shortcut. God Mode was an inside joke, but one that stuck. As it turns out, you can enable God Mode in Windows 10 as well. Why would you need it? The feature is useful for those in IT, those who manage a computer, and obviously for those advanced enthusiasts. Most consumers have little need for the feature, and in fact, it could lend itself to doing some damage to the OS.Think of God Mode as a backdoor to the OS to access all the settings.

Of course, just enabling it does nothing, but just don't tinker around too much without an OS backup. So let's get to it.

Tips:If you plan to create a significant number of these special folders it might help if you open Notepad and past the GUID strings (as listed in the article below) into Notepad from which you can later past into each God Mode folder name you create. For a complete list of Canonical Names and their GUID values:Create a central folder:There are dozens of these God Mode folders you can create and as a result you will end up with a cluttered desktop full of icons. You can place all these special folders inside one main folder on your desktop which you could name 'Tweak Toolbox'. Next drag each of your God Mode folders and drop it inside the toolbox folder. Now you will only have one icon on your desktop that contains all your God Mode folders.Get rid of the long string of numbers and letters:No doubt by now you have noticed the God Mode icon names on your desktop or in your toolbox folder contain not only the of the Control Panel item name but also at least some of the GUID string as well. There are two methods that you can use to remove the unwanted text and still keep the special God Mode functionality.1 The dot (period) that separates the Control Panel name from the GUID value can be preceded with spaces. This technique works even better if you have created a Central Folder and choose to display the icons in 'Detail Mode'.2 You can create a Shortcut.

Open the 'Tweak Toolbox' folder I mentioned earlier, right click on any God Mode folders you have created and choose the 'Send to' option and click on 'Desktop (create shortcut)'. Next right click on the desktop shortcut you just created and rename it by deleting the GUID string value. Now you have a centralized toolbox and a few shortcuts to the God Mode folders you use most often.
