From first person shooter to real-time strategy, spacecombat sim to turn-based strategy, Magic-style card trading tographic adventure, every gaming genre has been infiltrated by theTrek franchise at some point.The latest to gain a Trek game is the third person action-adventuregenre, with 'Deep Space Nine: The Fallen' due for release inEurope next month.

All that remains to be seen is whether The Collective's'Deep Space Nine: The Fallen' will stick to the wall, or slidedown and join the growing pile of substandard Trek titles at thebottom.Fallen Angels'The Fallen' sees you taking on the role of oneof three popular Deep Space 9 characters - station commanderSisko, the Bajoran Major Kira, or the Klingon Starfleetofficer Worf.Each of the characters progresses through the story arc of the gamein a different way; indeed, one of the cleverest things about TheFallen is the interaction between the actions of the threecharacters. At points in the game your character will come acrossobstacles that have already been moved to permit further progress;then, when playing through as another character, you will find thatyou actually have to go through the process of moving the obstacle,thus interweaving the different threads of the story.As with Elite Force, the game works hard to make itself seem like aplausible episode of the TV series on which it is based. As well asthe three playable characters, all of the other popular charactersfrom the series are also present in non-playable form, and theactual actors who played them on television voice their owndialogue for the game.
So, I found myself searching for a Star Trek game, and then I found this. It's a 2000 game, at first, it looks like Jedi Outcast, but you need to use more your brain. If you want to destroy a robot, first you need to scan his shield with the transcoder, then use the frequency on your phaser, aaanndd then you can shoot! Complicated, huh? Try to do this when there's 2 of these robots.
The music sometimes is louder than the voices, and you can't hear what the characters are saying. The controls are complicated, there's many keys and actions to memorize.
