I have a lot of videos in a folder called 'Renamed Movies', and each video is in a subfolder named 'Movie Name Year'. I have a similar structure for TV Shows. When I added the TV Shows folder, containing TV Show subfolders, the TV Shows collection is indexed appropriately.

However, the same is not true for the default Movies collection. Therefore, I am unable to call up movies in the Movie directory.I tried to get around this in several ways. First, I added individual folders to the default Movies library, but this did not work. Then I added the entire movie collection to the default TV Shows, Home Movies, and I created custom libraries for each of the three library types and added the video collection. Nothing worked. Finally, I added one movie to a custom Movie library, and that did work. I have a lot of movies, and I don't want to have to add individual folders-that would take a long time. What can I do to fix the default Movie library bug? I saw online something about deleting the database for index, but I do not quite know how to do that.

And I do not know if that is really the issue (e.g., TV Shows index properly). Does anyone have any solutions? I will try anything.

Thanks!!TL;DR Default movie library in Video Station not properly indexing movies, but will properly index TV Shows.EDIT: SOLVED issue. I also posted this on the. Just ctrl+f 'dbzgtfan4ever' (no single quotes). I've copied and pasted my post below. You beautiful people! I have been plagued by this for over a year, and I finally stumbled on this thread.

So, I listened to and moved my 800GB photo directory to an encrypted share called /Photos. In order to do this i had to disable photo station and the media server.Once I enabled photo station a /photo folder appeared in shared, and my NAS is indexing.

Issue is, I have no idea how to redirect photo station to index and add all the folders/albums from the /Photos encrypted share and not the default /photos. I have adjusted the settings in the control panel -media indexing-indexing folder- and removed the default and added the encrypted share but nothing is showing up.What I need to do is re-map photo station to the encrypted folder, but there doesnt seem to be a way to do that. Any help would be grand!.
