Fallout 4 Lasgun
Fallout 4 is getting ever closer to the release of its final official DLC Nuka World, which promises a whole new taste of fizzy, caramel, Raider-slaying goodness for the whole family to enjoy. But in the meantime, the modding community continues to crank out the Fallout 4 content that keeps us coming back to the Commonwealth week after week, month after month. So let's jump right back into the mean green mutagenic wasteland and see what they have in store for us this week. Xander's Aid – OfficialQuest mods in the modding community tend to range from the downright terrible to something that Bethesda would love to release as a free official DLC.
Xander's Aid is one of the latter. What started out as a simple quest to get your hands on Neeheer's custom Firelance Alien Blaster evolved into a full-length modded expansion, featuring a whole flotilla of quests, a new playable area that might not be as large as Far Harbor but is more than worth its salt, a new companion to tote around, and several useful and at times a bit wacky unique weapons that you'll pick up as you explore to the fullest. The mod author Neeher went all out in creating this quest mod and it's definitely worth your time. It's a prime example of a talented modder taking a creative idea and running with it, layering in everything that we love about Fallout 4 with all the creative insanity of the modding world to spice it up.
Live Dismemberment. The most recent Fallout titles out of Bethesda have a pretty common theme when it comes to dismemberment, maiming, and in general crippling limbs and body parts, but Fallout 4 felt like it was using just a bit of a light touch compared to the bloody mess explosions of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. That is, of course, until you notice the effects of blasting a ghoul's arms and legs off with a.44 magnum or your favorite tricked out pipe rifle, which ultimately begs the question of why Bethesda chose to keep the gore of dismemberment limited to ghouls and the dead. The answer is probably somewhere in a moral grey area way off beyond the Glowing Sea, and a variety of gameplay reasons.Of course, if those grey areas and gameplay reasons are a little less than important to you, give DeathclawAlpha's Live Dismemberment a gander, a mod that takes all the wonderful explosive gore of shooting a ghoul to pieces and applies it to pretty much everything in the Fallout universe.
Now you can literally blast the kneecaps off of Deathclaws, help that Raider achieve his lifelong goal of being a one armed drummer, and jumpstart an empire providing amputations and bionic peg legs at bulk discount costs across the Commonwealth. Live Dismemberment offers several variants depending on how often you want to see limbs flying off of bodies, and also gives headshot damage a realistic boost to revert 'feeding an enemy buckshot' into a turn of phrase rather than a gameplay mechanic. The Space Marine. Power Armor and the Warhammer 40K Space Marines seem like a match made in heaven, and thanks to the dedicated work of modder Matthew Hore fans of the Warhammer Sci-Fi universe can now step right into the boots of their favorite Space Marine by stepping into a brand spanking new model of Power Armor. The Space Marine adds nine unique sets of Power Armor to the Commonwealth, each themed after a different sect or order from the Warhammer 40K universe, and several textures to bring the Space Marines a bit closer to the Fallout world for fans of both murderous warrior sects and Vault-Tec blue. Each model is incredibly detailed, as you would expect from anything out of the Warhammer universe, right down to the custom jet pack variants with working flames and the individual insignia and squad symbols on each set. With this Power Armor in your arsenal there's never been a better time to grab your Ripper and start stomping out some Heresy.

DOOMBASED Weapons Merged. DOOM has been cranking out high-quality weapon mods for years, and the numerous custom models and textures he's popped out for Fallout 4 are sought after on all platforms, delivering a bit of Fallout character blended with modern military design, one massive bullet at a time. Of course, the only thing better than one big bullet is every bullet in the mag, and thanks to DOOMBASED Weapons Merged you can get your hands on all of DOOM's work in a single high-caliber package that includes all of his weapon mods for the low cost of a single download. Each weapon is a custom model and looks fantastic, perfect to scratch that itch if you felt that the weapons in Fallout 4 were lacking a bit of modern character.
You'll be blasting enemies with everything from massive revolvers, to heavy LMGs, and high quality combat shotguns, each fully modifiable and integrated seamlessly into the level list so you can find them in the hands of Raiders, Super Mutants, and Diamond City Guards alike. Just keep in mind that the only thing scarier than a Super Mutant with a Minigun is a Super Mutant with one of DOOM's Jaguar MSX 200 LMGs. Stay safe out there Wanderer. Minutemen Morale Pack. One of the best parts about joining a faction in the Commonwealth is the inevitable extra decorations that float your way via the settlement system – if you're a builder, that is. There's a certain level of pride to hanging up a flag of your faction, declaring it your own, making sure the world knows that you're the Minutemen's biggest supporter, fan, General, all around good guy.EvilViking13 understands that pride and felt that the Minutemen were lacking a bit in general fan gear befitting a newly revamped army, and so he created the Minutemen Morale Pack, a mod that adds over 25 new custom decorations to the workshop menu, each distinctly Minutemen themed. You’ll find everything from posters and banners, to flags and signs declaring your superior General status and promoting the Minutemen faction at large.

It's a fantastic mod that can add a lot of character to your settlement if you're a fan of the Minutemen, and that makes decorating the Castle a much more patriotic and enjoyable experience. Who wouldn't love a mod that adds patriotic wall bunting? Hopefully, we'll see EvilViking13 take a crack at the other factions as well. We'd love to see some less than covert Railroad fliers and flags raised high above our settlements to let the Institute know just who they're dealing with.Check out all of our.
