Hi just about 2 days ago i turned back on my pc and it did that cdsk check thingy before the pc started up in to desktop mode, after it loaded up my sound was disabled. So I tried basically everything I could do or thought of- Tried to start windows audio service, and Multimedia class scheduler from service.msc when did that it gives me and error 193. Saying it couldnt start windows audio service on local computer.- Tried some stuff in regedit. Not sure where exactly again.- Tried unplugging and plugging back in all my speaker or headphones.-Did safemode and used a malware program to wipe whatever was there.it did work perfectly fine before and it all of a sudden happened not sure what could be the problem but I hope someone can help me out here cause I have a lot of stuff on the computer that I want to save so I dont want to reinstall my windows if this even a easier fix.
